Coaching Well-Being the Danish Way — Cultivating Psychological Safety and Trust

Malene Rydahl | May 19, 10:00

Denmark consistently ranks as one of the world's happiest countries. What do the Danes understand about well-being that the rest of us are missing?

In this closing keynote, Malene Rydahl explores the core foundations of well-being, examining how our beliefs about the world, other people, and ourselves shape our overall sense of fulfillment. She'll also reveal the crucial role that the quality of our relationships plays in long-term well-being.

Drawing inspiration from the Danish model—consistently ranked among the happiest and most trusting societies in the world — Rydahl shares its three key pillars: trust, freedom to be yourself, and purpose in a common project.

The session also addresses the concept of psychological safety, which is measured in Danish schools, and how it enables people to feel free to ask questions, share ideas, or admit mistakes. You'll discover the essential ingredients that nurture psychological safety: self-awareness, empathy, and trust.
