Looking to fly to the City of Light? Here’s what you need to know ahead of time.
The Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is just 14 miles from the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel. It acts as the primary international gateway and handles most long-haul international flights going in and out of France.
The Paris Orly Airport is approximately 8 miles south of Paris, serving domestic and European flights.
Both airports offer accessible travel options to reach downtown Paris.
Long-distance trains connect to Paris via high-speed services by the Eurostar, which connects Paris with London, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne.
TGV trains also connect from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland to Paris.
In France, public transportation options include the RER trains, the Metro, buses and trams (which are wheelchair accessible), with taxis, such as Uber, available at designated stands and shuttle services pre-bookable for door-to-door convenience.
