Session Description Networking is often promoted as one of the most valuable aspects of attending conferences, yet many participants feel unsure how to approach it in a meaningful way. As a result, they may resign themselves to simply listening to the speakers and miss opportunities for connection, collaboration, and shared growth.
This experiential session reframes networking as a purposeful, human, and possibility creating practice. Rather than focusing on transactional exchanges or polished pitches, participants will explore how to build relationships that reflect their values, strengths, and identity. Through guided reflection, dialogue, and practical exercises, we will identify common networking discomforts and reframe them into clarity and intention. Participants will also work with two practical tools — the Networking Discomfort Reframe Handout and the Alliance Mapping Canvas — to map their own patterns and begin designing strategic coaching partnerships.
Whether you are looking to expand your reach, deepen your impact, or simply feel more confident connecting with peers, this session offers a grounded, relational approach to networking that sparks new possibilities across cultures and coaching contexts.
