Session Description: Artificial intelligence is transforming organizational life, and coaching within organizations is no exception. Yet despite rapid advances, most companies are only beginning to explore what is possible. This session introduces a futurist mapping framework that helps participants imagine how AI could evolve coaching cultures, leadership development, and talent growth at scale.
Participants will be invited to look beyond today’s generative tools and consider what comes next as AI becomes more agentic and, further ahead, when breakthroughs such as quantum computing accelerate capabilities even further. Through this lens, the session will explore how coaching in organizations might move from scaling access and efficiency to anticipating development needs and integrating seamlessly into the flow of work.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to differentiate between generative, agentic, and post-agentic AI to understand their potential influence on coaching in organizations.
Upon completion, participants will be able to analyze opportunities and risks of integrating AI into organizational coaching, including potential impacts on access, leadership development, and coaching culture.
Upon completion, participants will be able to evaluate ethical and human-centered considerations to determine how coaches and organizations can prepare responsibly for technological change.
