This experiential session brings together the worlds of Acting and Executive Coaching to explore one of leadership’s most elusive capabilities: Executive Presence.
At a time when AI and technological advancement are reshaping expertise and decision-making, leadership is judged not only by WHAT leaders know, but also by HOW they show up and lead. The ability to create trust, command attention, and mobilize people across organizations and with customers has become a decisive advantage.
Together, we examine what Executive Presence really is(and what it is not). Participants are invited to move beyond generic definitions and articulate their own understanding of presence in leadership. We then explore the “presence gap”: the distance between how leaders intend to show up and how they are actually experienced by others.
Drawing on techniques from acting, participants discover how embodied practice - voice, body, attention, intention, and energy - can align inner leadership identity with outward impact.
The goal is not to perform leadership, but to make it visible and felt.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand and articulate from experience how the integration of acting craft and executive coaching can transform leadership presence and authenticity.
Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate and reflect on the alignment and awareness of body, voice, breath, and intention as the embodied basis of executive presence.
Upon completion, participants will be able to reflect on their own “presence gaps” and identify ways to close these gaps through ongoing personal development.
