Annika Walter is a PhD researcher at the University of Göttingen's Chair for Smart Services, investigating human-AI collaboration in Information Systems. With an M.Sc. in Neurosciences (University of Bonn) and extensive research experience spanning cognitive and clinical neuroscience at Yale Medical School and the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE), as well as experience as a leadership consultant and trainer, she bridges cutting-edge neuroscience with practical applications. Annika has published peer-reviewed research on cognitive processes, mental agency, and AI ethics while teaching at multiple universities on topics including neuroscience and AI ethics. As a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor, she translates complex scientific insights into actionable strategies and helps leaders navigate complexity while fostering innovation and psychological safety. Her unique interdisciplinary perspective helps coaches understand how neuroscientific principles and AI technologies can enhance coaching effectiveness and navigate the evolving landscape of evidence-based coaching practices in an increasingly digital world.
