Vivian Xu Liang, PCC, is an Executive Coach working at the intersection of leadership, identity, and embodiment. A former IT leader and McKinsey consultant, she spent years advising and coaching high-performing executives before recognizing that sharp thinking and strategic insight don’t automatically translate into lasting personal change, or authentic impact in organizations.
Alongside her coaching career, Vivian train and perform as a theatre and musical actress, an experience that deeply changed how she understands presence, identity, self-expression, and influence. Today, she intetrates embodied, somatic, and vocal practices into her coaching to help leaders move beyond intellectual clarity into real alignment.
Her work explores why so many capable leaders “demonstrate" competence while feeling internally constrained, and how reclaiming embodied presence unlocks powerful, genuine influence.
Vivian holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s in Engineering from CentraleSupélec, and an acting degree from Cours Florent. She works internationally in English, Chinese, and French.
